This is it. Alvin Draper's transfer from another center of poorer upkeep (and that was saying something considering) on another side of the state had been accepted. He was escorted in by two CO's - who weren't actually Correctional Officers but really teen heroes, but who was keeping track - and his 'adoptive parents' had agreed to all terms and conditions over the phone, not wanting to have anything to with little Alvin, or so that was the 'story.'

The cafeteria was rowdier than he originally expected. He always thought the movies over-exaggerated the rowdy and violent nature, but it didn't bother him. He was perfectly able to capable of protecting himself.

"RR to KF. You there?" He spoke silently over the secure line, keeping to himself on the far, and very unoccupied side of the room.

Bart tried to suppress the snort of laughter at the sounds of imminent conflict. "If you end up in solitary, I'm not bringing you pie. Too many cameras to dodge on that block," Bart teased. "Try not to get too banged up if you have to lose this fight."

He knew that he'd have to let the line drop if anything big happened. The comm was discrete, but it was still something large enough to wedge in an ear and get back out again quickly. "I'll tell you if anything changes with the trucks, and if I don't hear from you by lights-out tomorrow, your distraught mother might be stopping by to try to beg your forgiveness and swear she's getting clean or something. Maybe your lawyer or social worker developed a conscience."

"Hey, Bart? Remind me to booby trap all entrances to the Batcave - and manor - with tangler grenades. Specially for you," he murmurs before raising to his feet and swiping away at the green slop (overcooked peas and something else? gross...) off his rags of clothing as much as possible. The boy responsible - the same kid from earlier - approached him. Clearly he was the culprit, the evidence was green and all over his left hand, along with a try of the stuff in his other and backed up by some of his 'followers.'

Tim rolled his eyes. High school all over again. Greeeeat.

"Oh, I get it," Tim starts with a stifled laugh. "This...this is some sort of initiation, right? Well, listen, guys...kids...dudes. I don't want any pa-- Oh that's gross..." He almost moans when the slop lands in his mouth this time. He moved to take the little heathen out, only seeing Damian's face, however, his friends had apprehended Tim...at this point it was probably a good idea to let the runt get his free hits in...there was nothing about martial art expert on his forged files.

Bart winced a little at the sounds of the first few hits, then decided to remind Tim to stay in control. "Just remember, it's easier to get to the main office from the infirmary. And I can probably meet you in there with nobody the wiser," he said, quietly.

"And if you booby trap anything, I'm pushing you into one."

He was going to the infirmary all right. And little Donny was almost going with him til Tim managed to fight the urge to slam his palm into the bastards solar plexus. They all scatter the instant they realize four correctional officers are baring done on them and Tim's left with a swollen and bloodied lip and...yeah, he's sure he'll have a black eye later.

There's no one else in the infirmary and he was only able to stay when he played the nurse into believing him that he might have a concussion after being punched and kicked repeatedly in the head (he hadn't realized the lump until he arrived, but it helped with the act).

"What time do you have?" Tim comes back over the secure line nearly three hours later.

Bart glanced at his watch, reading the time off it, glad to know that Tim sounded normal. "Any interest after today's little performance?"

The goal was to have 'Alvin' taken out the same way as the missing kids, but they couldn't afford to wait a long time. His role was keeping close tabs on everything coming in and out of the facility, finding that hole in the net. "I was looking over some of the geological survey data, and there might be some old tunnels nearby. Records show they were closed due to some kind of instability. And that was back in the thirties," he said.

It was a long shot, but still another potential way in and out. They would have had to dig or blow a way across to the nearest shaft, but once in, it wasn't exactly a bad escape route, assuming it could be opened.

"Assuming I haven't gotten any special visits from Gant, I'm going to assume no. Though, word is my little from earlier was dragged out of his cell after attacking someone else not too long ago after me." Tim's voice was a whisper, even though the nurse was on the phone and filling out paperwork, he didn't want to chance getting her attention. "Either I need to move now or I seriously need to take up Bullying 101."

There's a thoughtful pause on his line before coming back over the silent line. "You don't say. Lucky thing you're not Bruce, he'd be disappointed I let that little tidbit slip." He stifles a laugh, mostly from the ache after touching a gentle finger to his swollen eye and lip. "If you're not getting any activity out there, they're definitely using those tunnels despite how risky. And if they won't come to me, well... I'll just have to raid his office. Always nice to have a little specificity."

"It's not a crew, then, right? I mean, why would you want someone who's always going to bucking for that top spot?" Bart mused, then shrugged a little, even though Tim couldn't see it. "I only spotted the possibility because the type of formation it was running through shouldn't have had a fault or anything that went that direction. Which I only remembered because it was in another book I read on the stratigraphy of the northeast. Sometimes things just fall together like that."

He wouldn't blame Tim for missing it. He was still a little surprised to have seen it in the first place. "It didn't make any of the reports they made on suitability of the site or construction issues. I can start looking for where it comes out if you don't mind me moving from watching the gates."
